“The Camels Are Coming and They’re Bringing Rain”
August 12, 2025
The horizon shimmered in the heat of a dry and weary land. The ground beneath my feet was cracked from a  season without rain. The air was still, thick with the tension of waiting in anticipation.
It smelled like rain.
Then, from the far-off on the horizon I could hear it — a low, steady rumble, like a war drum—deep like thunder. Shapes begin to rise through the mirage, swaying in rhythm.
Camels.
But not ordinary camels.
Their hides glisten as if covered in gold dust. Around their necks hung cords of gold and scarlet, and upon their backs are massive earthen jugs, full to the brim. But these are not jars of oil or grain — they are brimming with rain. Heavy with the waters of heaven, they slosh with the sound of rivers pent up, waiting for the right time to pour.
As they drew closer, the air changed. A cool wind rises and rushes ahead of them, carrying the scent of rain long before the first drop falls. The parched ground begins to tremble with anticipation.
The lead camel bears a brand on its side — the mark of the King who sent them. These are His supply-bearers, moving in perfect order, loaded with the answer to years of drought. They are provision in motion. They are promise on the move.
When the caravan halted, the great jars were unsealed. The rain was not poured sparingly but in great torrents, spilling like waterfalls onto the thirsty earth. The drops were heavy — each one pounds like a drum, it seems to carry light within it — and wherever it falls, life explodes from the dust. The barren places burst into bloom, rivers carve fresh paths through the wasteland, and joy runs like a river through the streets.
The Spirit spoke to me and said—you realize: this is not just about water. This is about refreshing. The water they carry is not to refill the cisterns of old—it’s for those on mission in the dry places, it’s provision for those faithful ones, and for the unstoppable fulfillment of a promise spoken long ago.
The voice of the Lord thundered:
“The camels are coming. And they do not come empty. No. They carry the rain of My Spirit, the provision for the vision, and the refreshing for those who have stood in the dry place without turning back. The camels are coming, and they’re bringing rain.”

I declare:
The drought is breaking, for the Lord is sending His provision-laden camels into your camp. Like the camels of Midian who brought gold, frankincense, and treasures to Solomon (1 Kings 10:2), these are heavenly supply-bearers sent to deliver not just resources but the rain of refreshing.
I decree:
Isaiah 60:6 — “A multitude of camels shall cover you… they shall bring gold and frankincense, and shall bring good news, the praises of the LORD.” — is coming into fullness in this hour. The camels of the Lord carry not only wealth and resources, but the outpouring of the Spirit, for Zechariah 10:1 says, “Ask rain from the Lord in the season of the spring rain, from the Lord who makes the storm clouds, and He will give them showers of rain, to everyone the vegetation in the field.”
I prophesy:
This rain will not fall in drops but in torrents — Joel 2:23-24 — “Be glad, O children of Zion, and rejoice in the LORD your God… He will cause the rain to come down for you, the former rain and the latter rain… the threshing floors shall be full of grain; the vats shall overflow with wine and oil.”
I proclaim:
The camels of the Lord are coming into ministries, into families, into cities, bringing water for the thirsty, bread for the hungry, and oil for the lamps. The barren places will burst into bloom (Isaiah 35:1-7), the desert will run with rivers, and the joy of the Lord will flood the streets.
Prayer:
Lord, we receive the rain You are sending. We welcome Your camels laden with provision, revival, and refreshing. Let the jugs of heaven be poured out over our lives, our families, our ministries, and our cities. We stand in faith, for the vision will not delay — the sound of the abundance of rain is already in the air (1 Kings 18:41).
