8. The Law of Altars
• Genesis 8:20-21 – “Then Noah built an altar to the Lord, and took of every clean animal and of every clean bird, and offered burnt offerings on the altar. And the Lord smelled a soothing aroma.”
• 1 Kings 18:30-39 – Elijah’s victory on Mount Carmel came after he repaired the altar.
Altars represent places of sacrifice, covenant, and communion with God. A life without a spiritual altar is void of consistent divine encounters. Every victorious Burning Ones life has a functional altar. Remember - the devil has erected alters as well. We must be mindful of what alters are in our atmosphere.
Application:
1. Build a Personal Altar: Set aside a dedicated time and place for prayer and worship daily.
2. Maintain the Fire: Stay consistent, ensuring your altar never grows cold (Leviticus 6:13). This is not optional for the Burning Ones.
3. Renew Covenant: Continually remind yourself of God’s promises and renew your surrender to Him.
