Breaking Altars and Evil Patterns
Foundation Scripture:
“Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us” (Galatians 3:13).
Intro:
Every problem has a spiritual root. Many battles people face—cycles of failure, sickness, poverty, or untimely death—are connected to altars raised by ancestors, covenants they entered into, or doors opened through practices like witchcraft or Freemasonry. These things create legal grounds for the enemy to afflict a family line.
But hear me, child of God: “Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty” (2 Corinthians 3:17). Jesus came to set the captives free and silence the voice of altars crying against your destiny. From this day forward, every generational covenant, every demonic altar, and every curse will bow to the blood of Jesus!
Understanding the Power of Altars and Covenants
1. What is an Altar?
• An altar is a meeting place between the spiritual and physical realms.
• Altars can speak for or against men. When ancestors raised altars of witchcraft or Freemasonry, they invited demonic spirits into the family line. These spirits enforce curses, causing patterns of hardship and oppression.
2. The Role of Covenants
• Covenants are agreements made in the spirit realm. Through witchcraft or Freemasonry, ancestors may have made oaths or sacrifices, knowingly or unknowingly dedicating their bloodlines to dark powers.
• “If the foundations are destroyed, what can the righteous do?” (Psalm 11:3). But God is raising deliverers tonight who will repair the broken foundations of their families.
3. Witchcraft and Freemasonry
• Witchcraft operates through manipulation, intimidation, and domination, fueled by evil altars and sacrifices. It seeks to bind individuals and families under demonic control.
• Freemasonry is not just a social order; it is deeply rooted in occult practices. High-level members take blood oaths, invoke spiritual penalties, and align themselves with darkness. These oaths create spiritual chains that extend to descendants.
• But every power of darkness will bow to the name of Jesus! “At the name of Jesus, every knee should bow” (Philippians 2:10).
Identifying Signs of Generational Curses
Some signs that an altar or covenant may be working against you include:
• Repeated cycles of failure or near success.
• Chronic sickness or untimely deaths in the family.
• Unexplainable poverty or financial struggle.
• Patterns of rebellion, addiction, or mental illness.
• Oppression in dreams: serpents, sexual encounters, or pursuing spirits.
If you see these patterns, it is not coincidence. You must confront the altar in the spirit.
God’s Provision for Deliverance
1. The Blood of Jesus
• The blood of Jesus is the answer to every altar of darkness. It speaks better things than the blood of Abel (Hebrews 12:24).
• Through the blood, the legal hold of the enemy is broken. “Having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us… He has taken it out of the way, nailing it to the cross” (Colossians 2:14-15).
2. Spiritual Authority
• Every believer has authority in Christ to trample on serpents and scorpions (Luke 10:19). You don’t beg demons; you command them in the name of Jesus!
3. The Ministry of Deliverance
• Deliverance is not a one-time event. It is a system of spiritual alignment where the finished work of Christ is enforced over your life. Tonight, as we pray, every altar of witchcraft and Freemasonry will catch fire!
Steps to Break Free
1. Repent and Renounce
• Scripture: “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us” (1 John 1:9).
• Prayer: “Father, I repent on behalf of myself and my ancestors for every involvement in witchcraft, Freemasonry, and occult practices. Forgive us for raising altars to darkness and making ungodly covenants. I renounce these practices and declare that I belong to Jesus Christ!”
2. Destroy Evil Altars
• Scripture: “Break down their altars, smash their sacred stones” (Deuteronomy 7:5).
• Prayer: “In the name of Jesus, I command every altar of witchcraft and Freemasonry speaking against my life and family to be destroyed by fire! Let the blood of Jesus silence their voices now!”
3. Break the Covenant and Curse
• Scripture: “Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law” (Galatians 3:13).
• Prayer: “By the blood of Jesus, I break every generational curse, oath, and covenant tied to witchcraft, Freemasonry, or any occult practice. I cancel their power over my life and my descendants in Jesus’ name!”
4. Declare Freedom and Blessing
• Scripture: “No weapon formed against you shall prosper” (Isaiah 54:17).
• Prayer: “I declare that I am free from every curse and demonic influence. I walk in the blessings of Abraham. I decree that my family will serve the Lord. Every cycle of poverty, sickness, and oppression is broken in Jesus’ name!”
Prayers for Deliverance
1. Prayer of Repentance and Renunciation
“Lord Jesus, I stand in the gap for my family. I repent of every sin, every altar, and every covenant made with darkness through witchcraft, Freemasonry, or other occult practices. By the blood of Jesus, I renounce and cancel these agreements. Forgive us, Lord, and cleanse my bloodline. Amen.”
2. Prayer to Break Evil Altars
“Father, by the authority of Your Word, I command every evil altar of witchcraft or Freemasonry speaking against my destiny to catch fire now! I release the fire of the Holy Ghost to destroy these altars and their sacrifices. Let every demon assigned to these altars be bound and cast out in Jesus’ name!”
3. Prayer of Freedom
“In the name of Jesus Christ, I break every generational curse affecting my family. I cancel every spell, incantation, and evil projection from witchcraft. I declare freedom by the blood of Jesus. From today, I walk in liberty, healing, and abundance. Amen!”
