Communion Teaching
I. Introduction – Opening the Mystery
• In the Kingdom, nothing is casual. Every instruction, every ordinance is a spiritual mystery.
• Communion is not a religious ritual—it is a mystery for enforcing the covenant of Christ’s victory in your life.

II. Covenant Reality of Communion
• Communion represents the New Covenant in His blood.
• Matthew 26:26–28 – Jesus Himself calls it the covenant of His blood.
• Covenant = divine agreement sealed with blood. Communion = our participation in that agreement.
Key Point: Communion is not just symbolic—it is a legal enforcement of the covenant rights purchased at Calvary.
III. The Bread – His Body Broken for Us
Symbolism: The body of Jesus, broken so ours would be whole.
• Isaiah 53:5 – “By His stripes we are healed.”
Key Points:
• Exchange of weakness for strength.
• Exchange of sickness for healing.
• Exchange of death for life.
Prophetic Insight: Each time you eat the bread, you are declaring: “My body aligns with His body. No infirmity, no affliction has the final say.”
IV. The Cup – His Blood Speaks
• Hebrews 12:24 – The blood of Jesus speaks better things.
• Exodus 12:13 – The blood was the mark of divine preservation.
Dimensions of the Blood in Communion:
1. Forgiveness of sins. (Matthew 26:28).
2. Deliverance from curses. (Galatians 3:13).
3. Access to God’s presence. (Hebrews 10:19).
4. Preservation in times of judgment. (Exodus 12:13).
Prophetic Insight: The blood is a spiritual weapon. It silences the accuser, redeems territories, and enforces victory.
V. The Mystery Dimension of Communion
• Communion is not occasional—it is a mystery of longevity, preservation, and victory.
• Many believers fall sick and weak (1 Corinthians 11:30) because they fail to discern the mystery.
• To discern = to understand the prophetic meaning of the body and the blood.
Key Point: What you discern, you partake of; what you ignore, you miss.
VI. How to Engage Communion
1. Personal Dimension
• You can engage it in your secret place.
• Use it as a weapon against fear, sickness, and oppression.
• Apply it prophetically over your life and family.
2. Corporate Dimension
• When taken with believers, it releases corporate covering and alignment.
• The church in Acts continued steadfastly in the breaking of bread (Acts 2:42).
3. Faith Dimension
• Every mystery works by faith and understanding.
• Communion is effective when received with revelation.
VII. Prophetic Declarations Over Communion
Over the Bread:
• “By this bread, I step into divine health.”
• “I exchange weakness for strength.”
• “I align my body with the body of Christ.”
Over the Cup:
• “By this blood, I silence every accusation.”
• “By this blood, my family is preserved.”
• “By this blood, I enforce my victory in Christ.”
VIII. Conclusion – Communion as a Covenant Lifestyle
• Communion is not just remembrance—it is a re-presentation of the covenant every time we partake.
• It is a weapon of victory, a mystery of preservation, and a seal of the covenant.
