POWER OF THE BLOOD

The Eternal Covenant

“Lord, open my eyes to the mystery of the blood. Let me not handle holy things with ignorance. Give me light — give me understanding. Let this revelation shift my prayer life, my spiritual warfare, and my walk with You. In Jesus’ name.”

The Covenant That Speaks Beyond Time

Genesis 17:7 – “And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant…”

The blood of Jesus is not merely a symbol of atonement, it is the legal anchor of an everlasting covenant. Covenants in Scripture are binding. They are ratified by blood. And what God honors more than anything is what He Himself authored — the covenant sealed with the blood of Christ Jesus.

This covenant is not cultural. It is not historical. It is eternal.

What the Blood Accomplished

(Seven Pillars of the Blood)

1. Redemption

Ephesians 1:7 – “In Him we have redemption through His blood…”

We were not just forgiven. We were bought.

Sin had a price — and the blood paid it in full.

We are not rented. We are owned.

2. Justification

Romans 5:9 – “Being now justified by His blood…”

You are not just forgiven — you are declared righteous.

Your past no longer has the legal right to speak.

3. Cleansing

1 John 1:7 – “The blood… cleanses us from all sin.”

There is a difference between forgiveness and cleansing.

Forgiveness deals with guilt — cleansing deals with stain.

4. Sanctification

Hebrews 13:12 – “That He might sanctify the people with His own blood…”

To sanctify is to separate — to reserve.

The blood of Jesus marked you for sacred use.

5. Access

Hebrews 10:19 – “We have boldness to enter…”

The blood opened the Holy of Holies.

No more distance. No more veil. Access granted.

6. Victory Over Satan

Revelation 12:11 – “They overcame him by the blood…”

The blood is your courtroom defense.

Every accusation loses power when the blood is mentioned. It’s like “rule of law” in a courtroom.

7. The New Covenant

Luke 22:20 – “This cup is the new covenant in My blood…”

The promises of God are legally bound.

Not by your emotions, but by the blood of Jesus.

Pleading the Blood vs. Applying the Blood

(This is where many believers are sincere, but uninformed.)

To plead the blood is to invoke the rule of divine law.

To apply the blood is to enforce what that law permits.

Just as a lawyer pleads a case based on law, you plead the blood not as emotion, but as evidence.

Just as an officer enforces the court’s decision, you apply the blood to situations until manifestation shows up.

Pleading the Blood

• It is legal language, not religious tradition.

• It is declaring that the blood is your defense, your covering, your right.

• It is saying to heaven, hell, and earth:

“I am not here by myself. I plead the blood.”

Applying the Blood

• This is intentional, active faith.

• You target a specific situation, and declare:

“Let the effect of the blood of Jesus be active here.”

Over your mind, body, home,  ministry, finances, and territory.

Just like in Exodus 12 — the blood had to be applied to the doorpost. It wasn’t enough to have the lamb. You had to apply the blood.

Illustration—

Pleading the blood is like evoking spiritual law in court.

Applying the blood is like executing the court’s decision in real life.

Plead it to establish your right.

Apply it to enforce your dominion.

The Blood Still Speaks

Hebrews 12:24 says:

“…to the blood of sprinkling that speaketh better things than that of Abel.”

• Abel’s blood cried vengeance.

• Jesus’ blood cries mercy.

• It speaks healing, restoration, protection, victory, deliverance.

Prophetic Declarations

“In the name of Jesus, I plead the blood over my life, my family, my mind, my destiny.

“I declare the blood is speaking on my behalf — mercy, favor, protection!

“Every satanic accusation — the blood of Jesus is against you!”

“By the blood, I enter bold access. I am not outside the veil — I am seated with Christ!”

“I apply the blood to every legal ground the enemy is using — it is canceled now!”

Daily Prayer —

Father, I thank You for the blood of Jesus.

I plead the blood over my life, my mind, and my family.

I apply the blood to every doorpost — for healing, deliverance, provision, and peace.

Satan, the blood of Jesus is against you.

I am covered and cleansed by the blood.

Holy Spirit, fill every space where the blood has been honored.

In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Final Charge:

Do not use the blood like a charm.

Handle it with revelation, and demons will bow.

Apply it with authority, and heaven will respond.

Walk in covenant consciousness — and you will see the supernatural flow like a river in every area of your life.

“They overcame him… by the blood of the Lamb.”
