Scripture:

Matthew 11:5 - "The blind receive their sight and the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed and the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, and the poor have the gospel preached to them."

Intro:

Today, we stand on a powerful promise spoken by our Lord Jesus Christ.

Matthew 11:5 isn't just a historical account;

It’s a declaration of what happens when Jesus is present.

Hallelujah

It's a blueprint for the work of God in our lives -

Healing, Deliverance, and Provision.

These words are as alive today as they were when Jesus spoke them; the Gospel always comes with Power!

and these words are meant to stir up the faith in you to believe for the miraculous.

Do you believe that?

1. The Power of Jesus' Presence:

When Jesus walked the earth, His presence was marked by the miraculous. When He walked in the room lives changed. The blind eyes opened, the lame walked, deaf ears heard and the afflicted were set free.

These miracles were not just acts of compassion; they were demonstrations of the Kingdom of God breaking through into this world.

Hallelujah -

His Presence is still here today.

You must believe.

The word say “Only Believe and you will see the Glory of God”

- Healing: Jesus' ministry was filled with healing and deliverance. Blind eyes were opened, devils flee and the lame began to walk.

Today, He is the same -

His power to heal has not diminished.

It has not ceased in any way.

Whatever sickness or infirmity you are facing, know that Jesus has the power to heal you. He is Jehovah Rapha, the God who heals you.

- Deliverance: When Jesus encountered those oppressed by demons, He cast them out with a word. The power of God brings deliverance to those in bondage. No chain is too strong, no oppression too deep for the delivering power of Jesus. Today, whatever holds you captive, Jesus is able to set you free.

Hallelujah -

- Provision: Jesus declared that the poor have the gospel preached to them. This isn't just a spiritual message; it’s a promise of provision. The gospel brings hope, and with hope comes the assurance that God will provide for every single need.

Every Need!

Did You Hear Me?

As you align yourself with the Kingdom of God, provision is released into your life.

2. Faith to Believe:

Faith is the key that unlocks the miracle . All throughout scripture, we see time and again how faith made the difference in people receiving their miracles.

- The woman with the issue of blood had faith that if she could just touch the hem of Jesus’ garment, she would be healed (Mark 5:28). Her faith activated the power of God, and she was made whole.

- The centurion believed that just a word from Jesus was enough to heal his servant (Matthew 8:8). Jesus marveled at his faith and granted his request.

Today, God is calling you to have that same kind of faith.

Faith BELIEVES that what God has done before -

He will do again.

Faith that believes that His promises are true.

Every one of them.

Faith refuses to be moved by circumstances -

but stands firm on the Word of God.

“We walk by Faith not by sight”

Right?

3. Living in Expectation:

As believers, we are called to expect miracles.

Jesus said in Mark 9:23, "If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes."

Expectation is the breeding ground for miracles.

When we come before God, we must do so with a heart that expects Him to move.

If His word says it, He’ll do it.

Amen?

Can you believe it?

- Expect Healing: Believe with the expectation that God is your healer.

Whether it's a physical ailment, emotional pain, or mental health struggle, believe that He is able to make you well, to make you whole.

- Expect Deliverance: No matter how long you've been bound, expect that today is the day of your deliverance.

Jesus came to set the captives free, and He will break every chain that binds you right here today.

- Expect Provision: Trust that God is your provider in all things, in every situation.

He knows your needs, and He is faithful to supply them according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19).

Conclusion:

Matthew 11:5 is a testimony to the power of Jesus Christ, and it is an invitation to Believe for Greater Things in our lives, and for our families.

The same Jesus who healed the sick, delivered the oppressed, and provided for the poor is alive and working today.

His power is available to those who will believe.

I challenge you today—activate your faith. Dare to believe that God will heal, deliver, and provide for you.

Stand on His Word, trust in His promises, and watch as the miraculous unfolds in your life.

As you do, you'll see the blind receive sight, the lame walk, and the glory of God revealed in your life.

Prayer:

Father, we thank You for Your Word that is alive and active. We believe in Your power to heal, deliver, and provide. Increase our faith today. Help us to stand firm on Your promises and to live in expectation of the miraculous. We declare healing, deliverance, and provision over every life in Jesus' name. Amen.
