She wore a dog chain as jewelry—heavy, symbolic. I said, “Jesus wants to break your chains, not decorate them.” She sneered at first, then stared, then cried. Right there on the sidewalk, she laid it all down and gave her life to Him. Jesus breaks every chain of bondage. He sets the captives free. He set her free. Now she follows Him.
