I didn’t know who he was at first—just a man in plain clothes asking deep questions. He said he heard me talk to a woman at the bus stop in front of the City Hall building. Turns out he sat on the city council. I preached Jesus. He said, “We need more of this. This town desperately needs hope, real hope. Only this Jesus can do that.” We prayed. He made a decision to walk with Christ.
