We rolled into Huntington W.V., now Huntington is a small town in West Virginia, we’ve been here before so I knew the population as well as spiritual climate. But something was different this time—there was an energy of great expectation. When we arrived at the courthouse (always a good spot to start) we parked and began walking, on a back street that was kind of the restaurant district we found a town festival, the street barricaded at both ends for about two city blocks. The whole town had shown up for the festival. I thought to myself Praise God, he gathered all these folks here for me to minister to. I heard in my spirit “Recovery and Reconciliation”. There were a few hundred people in attendance. I worked my way through the crowd praying for every person the Holy Spirit highlighted to me—and there were a lot. the reoccurring theme was religion without repentance, most of these folks knew about Jesus but had never really made him Lord. After leading 109 people to follow Jesus the Holy Spirit led me to leave the crowd and head back to the vehicle.
