In front of the courthouse steps, I stopped to share the Gospel and reveal Jesus to individuals as they walked by. My assignment was to speak to the judges and lawyers as they exited the courthouse—Black robes passed by, briefcases in hand. A few stopped to listen. One by one they looked at me, confused and said, “I can’t understand what you’re saying. It’s not making any sense” as if a spirit of confusion had come over them. I said, “It’s the simplicity of the cross, brother.”
That city was thick with pride and deception, but the Word was sown into the very heart of the city.
