The other day while taking revival to the streets, and enforcing God’s will here on earth just as it is in Heaven—I walked into a Piggly Wiggly. While I was in the store rescuing the lost and healing the sick I found someone in a wheelchair. As I approached her I heard “this will be for a testimony”. I walked up and shared some verses about God’s promise of healing, I explained that salvation and healing are both found in the atonement. By this time a small crowd had gathered to hear the word of the Lord—right in the middle of the spice isle. I felt that some people might walk away and continue shopping so I did a brief “salvation call” before proceeding. Several people made a decision to follow Jesus at that point, but the Holy Ghost wasn’t finished yet.
Now here is where it gets interesting. I told the lady in the wheel chair that God has a plan to use her for something big, and that he was healing her even right at that moment. I told her that the Bible says that if I lay hands on the sick that they will recover. Told her that I was going to put my hand in her shoulder—she stopped me and said “NO! What will I do then? I’ll lose my disability checks, my special parking, my housing. Who will I be then? No! No! No!” She then quickly wheeled away.
I didn’t know that those electric carts could go that fast. I was really surprised by what had just happened. I said quietly—Lord what is this? I thought there was a testimony here. I heard the Spirit say:“Nothing is Wasted”. I looked around at the three people still standing there, an older lady who was clearly very dedicated to witchcraft approached me clutching an amulet (not a cute little pentagram from Hot-topic) she told me that something had compelled her to come and listen to what I was saying. She said that she had never seen anything like that before. She said “I know that those were demons keeping that woman bound in her disease”.
But what she said next was amazing. She told me that all her life she had been searching for the most powerful God. She said “now I know that the almighty one is Jesus.” She said “the lady in the wheelchair didn’t want a new identity—but that’s all I e ever wanted. Can Jesus forgive even me?”
I shared some scriptures about the love of God and salvation with her. She renounced witchcraft, surrendered her old life and chose to follow Jesus!!
Remember—nothing is wasted. He has come to rescue the lost, and nothing can stop His redemption. There will always be a testimony when we step out in faith. As a believer—there is always a testimony, there is always a redemption story, there is always a divine appointment waiting on you to obey.
