While on a recent missions trip to Charleston, West Virginia I met a young lady who experienced an incredible encounter with the Lord. Our mission was to spread the fire of revival on the streets - To Reveal and Glorify Jesus.  We had been ministering near the Appalachian Power Park and were headed toward another area the Spirit was leading us to. We drove past a young lady walking down the street, the Holy Spirit said “stop her right now”. We pulled in to the next parking lot and I immediately got out and started walking toward her, she saw me and was compelled to come near. As we got closer I got to see the conflict taking place within her; her spirit desperate to be rescued, and her tormentors pushing her to withdraw.

I stood directly in front of her and I began to speak to her. I told that Jesus loves her, and that God had an incredible plan for her life, I shared with her details about her past as the Holy Spirit revealed to me. I told her that every wound, every demonic covenant, tie and alignment of the past is broken by the power of the blood of Jesus. The demons immediately fled the woman and she began to weep. For confidentiality reasons I cannot share in great detail all that transpired, but I can tell you this; the woman suffered for years both physically and emotionally. She told me that as a young child she was the victim of spiritual abuse in the form of witchcraft, and physical abuse.

The Word of God makes it clear that we are to cast out devils and heal the sick, and that is exactly what happened that day. The young lady asked Jesus to come into her heart and be Lord of her life, she repented, and received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. The emotion and joy of this encounter is absolutely indescribable, no words could ever come close, but I’ll say this: Jesus was revealed and highly glorified. This young lady had an encounter with Jesus that would leave you in tears, her heart has been set ablaze for Jesus and life transformed forevermore.

A disciple of Jesus was made, and she was able to connect with a church to fellowship and grow with.
